The spark for Flavor Compass ignited during our second date. My fiancée (now co-founder) and I combined two passions: trying new places and the habit of leaving detailed reviews on Google.
Our interest, however, went beyond the plate. We wanted to share the history, culture, and peculiarities of Italian locations, offering a complete guide capable of inspiring travelers to discover Italy authentically.

With the addition of culinary details and cultural elements, we ran into a problem: the dispersal of our audience across our personal profiles and Google.
We decided to create a single ‘center of gravity’: Flavor Compass. Our goal was to unify authentic reviews and cultural content, making them easily traceable through Google’s taxonomy search.
